Apparently people do, in fact like normal spam they only need a tiny percentage of people (something like 0.0001%) to fall for it, to make enough money to make it more than worth while.

In fact, they even made a video called "I chop your dollar" which is the 419 anthem that motivates the scams.

Sorry the link has nothing to do with this post, I forgot to grab my blog link--doing too many things...

I was so happy to see you on my blog! I want to leave you a note here.

The cost of gas is really getting to us, everyone. We live so far from town and own gas guzzlers. I just cannot believe it when I read about the profits these companies are turning. It makes my head spin.

I hope you have a super weekend! Take care!

Joe,

I once made a comment on Matt Cutts blog and he replied to me on the blog by name. Ok so it was my first name and Dave is as common as it gets. I got a kick out of it anyway.

Hoep your doing well

[...] On some forum (can’t recall where), someone mentioned FreeBSD as a viable option for old, slow hardware, so I decided to try it out on the kids’ PC. After some tweaking of the device hints to get it to use the old NIC, it worked great. Performance is acceptable for the hardware (300 mhz Pentium II), and it runs most Linux software in addition to native FreeBSD code. After some more online research about the relative strengths and weaknesses of FreeBSD vs. other BSDs vs. Linux, I decided to reload the server with FreeBSD. This server is built on a DELL Dimensions platform, with a 2 Gigahertz Intel processor and 256 Meg of memory. It has 2 internal hard drives, a 30 Gig Maxtor 6E030L0, and a 160 Gig Seagate ST3160215A (which came out of a failed external USB SimTech drive. [...]

You want to copy the /etc/passwd file to the home directory? Or do you want to capture the users actual password and store it in a file? I'm not sure what you're asking, but I'll help if I can.
